Art has always been my passion since as long as I can remember. My mother who was an artist, first taught me how to paint in oils. From there, I learned to paint in watercolors as well as in acrylics.

I went to the School of Visual Arts majoring in media arts and illustration, where I received a bachelor’s degree in fine Arts. Afterwards I first started out as a graphic artist moving up to art director.

Graphic designer and art director with experience in designing direct mail advertising, catalogs, trade shows materials and package design in industries such as publishing, pharmaceuticals, marketing, and consumer goods.

Worked for Scholastic when it was Grolier, Inc. at the time Grolier was a subsidiary of Hachette, Inc. an international company. Hired on first as a graphic artist and eventually promoted up to art director, working in the creative department designing direct mail packages of Disney book clubs and collectibles, Sesame Street, Dr. Seuss and his friends books and many others. Directed photo sessions of the products working closely with the photographers and models. Some of the print packages were reworked for the UK and Australia market. Later, was hired as a senior art director at a design studio and then as a freelancer designing brochures and catalogs for Danbury Mint. Created new carton designs and conference material for pharmaceutical companies.
